Junior Tackle Box Promotion – Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Participation in the Junior Tackle Box Promotion (“Promotion”) constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Information on how to participate forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions may be deemed invalid at the discretion of the Promoter.
2. Promoter
The Promoter is the Australian Fishing Trade Association (“AFTA” or “Promoter”), PO Box 43, Junortoun VIC 3551.
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to children supporting a participating South Australian tackle store. They must be aged 17 years or younger at the time of participation.
Participation must be approved and supervised by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the child.
Employees, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of the Promoter, participating stores, or any related entities are not eligible to participate.
4. Participating Stores
Only purchases made at participating stores are eligible for participation in the Promotion. Stores not listed below are not participating and will not have Junior Tackle Box stock available.

5. Promotion Period
The Promotion commences when Junior Tackle Box stock becomes available in participating stores, or from 9:00am ACST on 26 January 2026, whichever occurs first.
The Promotion concludes at 4:00pm ACST on 31 March 2026, unless it is ended earlier due to stock exhaustion.
The Promoter reserves the right to end the Promotion early where stock is depleted.
6. How to Participate
To participate, an eligible child must attend a participating store with a parent or guardian during the Promotion Period and make a purchase of $10 AUD or more in a single transaction. Purchases made solely with gift vouchers do not qualify.
On their first qualifying purchase only, each eligible child will receive one complimentary Junior Tackle Box, subject to stock availability.
The child must be present in-store at the time of purchase to receive the Junior Tackle Box.
Each child is strictly limited to one Junior Tackle Box for the duration of the Promotion, regardless of the number of visits or purchases made.
7. Privacy and Promotional Use
The Promoter does not directly collect personal information as part of this Promotion.
Participating stores may collect limited personal information from a parent or guardian solely for the purpose of administering the Promotion, including verifying eligibility, managing stock distribution, and preventing multiple claims. Any personal information collected by participating stores will be handled in accordance with their own privacy policies.
With the consent of a parent or legal guardian, the Promoter or participating stores may photograph or record participating children with their Junior Tackle Box for promotional purposes. Participation in promotional activities is optional and requires separate consent.
Approved promotional content may be used by the Promoter and participating stores across digital, social, and in-store channels. All personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
8. Stock Availability and Misuse
Junior Tackle Boxes are available while stocks last.
Junior Tackle Boxes and any items included must not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter, be resold, offered for resale, auctioned, or used for advertising, promotional, commercial, or other business purposes.
If the Promoter becomes aware that a Junior Tackle Box or any included item has been sold, resold, or otherwise used in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, withdraw that Junior Tackle Box or any remaining allocation.
Where a Junior Tackle Box is withdrawn under this clause, no refund, replacement, substitute, or compensation will be provided.
9. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and participation and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the Promotion process or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion or the Junior Tackle Box, except for liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to any written directions from relevant regulatory authorities.
10. Force Majeure
The Promoter will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, natural disasters, war, or other unforeseen events.
